Penn State Health St. Joseph Golf Tournament raises nearly $50,000 to support hospital’s mission
Penn State Health St. Joseph’s Annual Golf Tournament, hosted by St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation, has recorded a final tally of $48,800 in net proceeds from the tournament held September 12th. The funds will support the acquisition of new medical equipment and technology at St. Joseph.
The tournament was held at the Bellewood Country Club and more than 100 golfers participated. The first-place foursome representing Reinsel Kuntz Lesher was hosted by J. Andrew Weidman, Chair, Penn State Health St. Joseph Board of Directors. In second place was the foursome from Edwards Landscape & Nursery, hosted by Jeff Povilaitis. Winner of the longest drive was Nate Doll of East Penn. Winners of the closest to the pin were Brian Komline of the BB&T Retirement & Institutional Services foursome; Dave Eckhart of the Reinsel Kuntz Lesher foursome; and Bob Yeager of the Power Kunkle foursome.

Since its founding 31 years ago, the tournament has raised more than $1.2 million in net proceeds to benefit St. Joseph’s healthcare mission.
